Vice City is set in 1986 and features Tommy Vercetti, a mobster in the service of the Mafia looking for money stolen during a drug deal. GTA 3 takes place in 2001 and puts the player in the role of Claude, a robber seeking revenge on his ex-girlfriend, who left him for dead during a robbery. In each of the games we play as an aspiring criminal, climbing the rungs of the criminal underworld.
